The Price List used by vTill is opened by pressing on the Price List button on the main vTill page. This page lists all the prices currently available in vTill.

Adding a Price

To add a new price select the Add Price Group task under Common Tasks. This will display the following form.

Next complete the following:

• Price Group: This is the name you want the price to be know by and be printed on receipts.
• Gross Price: This is the price, including VAT, that you want to charge for the item.
• VAT Rate: This is the rate of VAT charged on the item. If you don't charge VAT this should be set to Exempt.

When you have completed these values press the OK button to add the price to the list of prices.

Please note that any changes that you make are not saved until you press the Save button on the price list.

Changing a Price

To change a price select the corresponding price group in the list of prices and select the Change Price Group task under Common Tasks. You can then make any changes you want to make to the price.

Deleting a Price

To delete a price select the corresponding price group in the list of prices and select the Delete Price Group task under Other Tasks and confirm that you want to delete it.

Saving the changes

When you are ready to safe the changes you have made to your prices press the Save button and confirm that you want to save the changes.
